Studied preconditions of migration activity in Primorsky region due to the social wealth perception and assessment by residents of the region. Analyzed a result of the survey on residents’ satisfaction with the quality of life and migratory attitudes conducted by the Vladivostok
State of Economics and Services University in November and December 2019. A strong differentiation of respondents' opinions is revealed, which stipulates uncertainty in establishing a true meaning. In general, the responents note a low quality of medical services, insufficient provision of settlements with engineering infrastructure and social facilities, and poor quality of roads. It has been settled that migration activity of the young people is mainly due to economic factors. A third of the young people surveyed intend to leave Primorsky region due to low income and lack of prospects for economic development. The survey results show that young people have a higher migration activity. About 60% of respondents said they were going to leave soon, or this option is being considered. According to the survey, a significant part of respondents
over 41 years cannot afford a vacation outside the Primorsky Territory because it is too expensive for the family. About half of the respondents indicated that taking a mortgage is expensive for a family, and only 16% of those can afford to take a mortgage soon. It is concluded that economic factors reflect a state of imbalance between incomes and expenditures of the population, and a determinant for migration activity
may be the risk of deterioration or failure to achieve the desired economical and social status.
